Being able to photography a ceremony this busy and important I knew I had to be thoroughly prepared. This meant preparing multiple cameras and lenses for shooting, being prepared for the three hours of rain in the outdoors, as well as being prepared to have to do a lot of crowd control / crawling around to prevent me from obstructing the view from the audience.
Although the rain posed as a challenge, it added a drama that fits well with how momentous graduating college is. The challenge that followed was editing the thousands of images in a timely manner so families could acquire them quickly. By being a part of this experience did I realize I can work well under several different forms of pressure.
